3 of My Favourite Bloggers (Who Blog for Bloggers)
Now that’s one convoluted blog title – my favourite bloggers who blog for bloggers. Convoluted and a tongue-twister!
But in all seriousness, let me explain. Blogging isn’t what it used to be. It isn’t just a hobby – it isn’t busy work. And blogging definitely isn’t easy. Blogging is work – albeit, it’s fun work (especially if you love what you’re writing about).
But then there’s a lot more than writing that goes into blogging. When you blog (or are pursuing any type of online business for that matter), you become much more than a writer. You are a researcher (you are constantly learning about social media, testing and putting hypotheses into action), you are a photographer (great pictures don’t take themselves – except in some places it seems, like Italy), you are an editor, a producer, an investor… the list goes on.
And some bloggers blog for bloggers. Yes, you read that correctly. Bloggers blogging for bloggers. These amazing individuals are skilled content creators, helping their peers do their job even better. These bloggers write articles about how to write more engaging posts, how to craft eye-catching article titles (and how to deliver what you promised in your title to your audience), how to approach sponsors, how to contact other bloggers… they write about the (very new) business of blogging. Others are webinar experts and e-course creators – and are less so “traditional bloggers”. In both cases, I am (along with many others) forever grateful to social media entrepreneurs like these. And today, I want to shoutout 3 of my favourites.
The women I have selected each offer a unique take on the business of blogging and of bettering your (and my) online business. They have created – and continue to create – invaluable content.
Without further ado, I’d like to introduce you to my 3 favourite female bloggers and content creators, brand specialists and all-around rockstars.
Branding & Social Media Strategist / Founder, Kimra Luna
Kimra Luna is the creator of the Be True Brand You digital course. Kimra teaches the “what to do” and more importantly, the “how” of branding, growing and monetising your online business. Kimra is a webinar expert, branding and social media strategist and not to mention, a total badass. I recently completed her Brand Detox Challenge (a complimentary, 5 day program) and it was really helpful. I’d say more but I want you to see for yourself. I love Kimra’s style – and her awesome content. Visit Kimra at KimraLuna.com and become a fellow #FreedomHacker (Freedom Hacker is what she calls her readers, clientele, audience… those of us who are seeking freedom by creating our own businesses online).
Consultant and Blogger / Founder, The Nectar Collective
I love, love, love what Melyssa Griffin is doing with The Nectar Collective. The Nectar Collective is, as Melyssa describes it: a go-to hub for creatives who want to improve their lives, their blogs, and their budding businesses. Seriously, this woman’s got all the goods. I’ve learned a lot from TNC and have been able to implement much of what she shares, thanks to her toolbox of worksheets and eBooks. Melyssa is so genuine and relatable – I feel like I know her and that she’s the awesome friend who always shares what she’s learning and who only wants the best for her friends.
Graphic Designer and Blogger / Founder, Elle & Co
Lauren is the founder of Elle & Co, a business, blogging, and design resource for creative entrepreneurs. Lauren and her husband work together – and I love when couples work as a team – on Elle & Co. Elle & Co has an incredibly rich collection of resources to guide, build and support your online business – ah-mazing free resources. You can even access Lauren’s library of goodies with a monthly membership.
I urge you to seek out social media strategists and content creators like these women. Find online entrepreneurs who you feel an instant connection with (if you haven’t already) and give them a shoutout, too!
